Gerrin's TYAFRYA
She's alive and kicking butt again. For regulars of Motorvation and the Kwinana Motorplex, this old gal will look familiar. TYAFRYA hasn't been on a dyno yet, but she should make close to 550hp at the flywheel. So far she has run 11.71 over the ¼ mile @116mph with a slipping gearbox!
External Modifications
Gerrin's baby has too many mods to list, but here are some of the standouts: all chrome work painted flat black, custom rear beaver panel with twin exhaust cut outs, custom purple ppg paint with house of kolor blue and purple die, lower half painted and marblized, limo tint all round, and bare Metal GT stripes on the bonnet and bootlid.
Internal Modifications
This old gal is designed for legal burnouts and drag racing down the Motorplex - and city street cruising, so she retains a hybrid of luxury and performance on the inside. Sexy black interior is captured with new carpets, door trims, and aftermarket racing seats. Extra juicy mods include: autometer oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge and shiftlight Tacho, B&M carbon fiber Shifter, and a Boobie AM FM radio!
Performance Modifications
Packing 550hp at the flywheel is a wee bit from being stock, so you can imagine there are some juicy bits packed under the hood! Let's take a Windsor 416CI V8 and tickle her with a few things including: forged pistons, ARP studs, Isky solid racing cam, a high volume oil pump, 950cfm Holley double pumper carby, Gilmer belt drive, alloy heads, hardened push rods, twin 3 inch exhaust, MSD ignition, high stall, and a 3 core cooling system (to name a few items). Hmmmmmm no wonder it has that name.
